Going to flight school will enable you to learn the theory of flying as well as the practical side of things. To fly solo, you have to be aged sixteen or over, so to attend a proper training course you must meet the age criteria. You will need to have a good standard of spoken and written English to successfully take a flight school course, and you will also have a basic medical examination prior to piloting.
